Visa requirements for Canada citizens traveling to Syria

• ❖The Canadian government advises its citizens not to visit Syria due to the ongoing armed conflict, terrorism, criminality, arbitrary detention, torture and forced disappearance. Canadians that were born in Algeria, Jordan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen or GCC member state do not need a visa. Canadians of Syrian origin don't need a visa , they must have a proof. Canadians with a residence permit issued by GCC member state or Lebanon, can obtain a visa upon arrival. They must have a valid address in Syria, a contact number and sufficient funds to cover their stay. Nationals of countries without any Syrian representation can obtain a visa on arrival. Syria Visa Fees is 100 USD for Tourism duration of 1 month single entry.
